Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
This policy explains how ReadyPage ("we", "us") uses personal data when you visit this website, send us an enquiry or become a customer. We follow UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
1. Who is responsible
[LEGAL NAME / TRADING AS], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], is the data controller. Contact us at [EMAIL ADDRESS] about anything to do with your data. [ICO registration number: XXXXXXXX.]
2. What we collect and why

| Messages you send us by email or phone | To answer you and keep a record | Legitimate interests; contract |
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website, and we do not sell your data. We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked for them.
3. Who we share data with
We use trusted providers to run our service. They only process data for us or under their own terms:
- Cloudflare – hosts this website and runs Turnstile, the spam check on the enquiry form. Turnstile may process your IP address and browser signals.
- Our ReadyPage CMS (cms.readypage.co.uk) – stores the enquiries you submit.
- Google Fonts – supplies the typeface; your browser requests it from Google, which receives your IP address.
- Domain registrars and registries – if you buy a domain through us, the details needed for registration are passed to them.
- Payment, email and accounting providers – [LIST, e.g. Stripe, Google Workspace, Xero].
- Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires.
Some of these providers are outside the UK (for example in the USA). Where that happens we rely on approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become customers: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Customer records and website content: while you are a customer, and up to 12 months after.
- Invoices and payment records: 6 years, as required for tax and accounting.
5. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to move it to another provider. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email [EMAIL ADDRESS] and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
6. Security
This website uses HTTPS, and we limit access to personal data to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
7. Websites we build for you
If we build a website for you that collects data from your own visitors (for example a contact form), you are the controller of that data and we act as your processor. You are responsible for your own privacy notice and for any cookie notice your website needs.
8. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
