Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These terms apply when you order a website, domain or related service from ReadyPage ("we", "us"). By placing an order or accepting a quote you agree to them. If we agree something different with you in writing, that agreement wins for that order.
1. Who we are
ReadyPage is [LEGAL NAME / TRADING AS], [registered in England and Wales, company number XXXXXXXX, if applicable], of [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Contact: [EMAIL ADDRESS].
2. What we provide
We design and build a website for your business from the information you send us, help you choose, buy and connect a domain name, and host the website. The standard package (All-in-One) includes the domain, the website build, mobile-friendly design, contact form, gallery, hosting, SSL security and basic search engine setup. Anything beyond the standard package (for example booking, ecommerce, payments, integrations or extra pages) is quoted separately and only goes ahead once you accept the quote.
3. How an order works
- You send us your business details, logo, photos and text.
- We build the website and send it for your review.
- We make the changes we have agreed with you, then put the website live on your domain.
A contract is formed when we confirm your order or you accept our quote. We may decline or end an order before work starts, for example if we cannot deliver what you ask for.
4. Price and payment
The All-in-One plan is £99 per year, covering your domain and website for one year. Advanced and other custom work is priced by quote. Prices are as stated at the time of your order [and include / exclude VAT]. The yearly fee is due [on order / in advance] and renews each year unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will remind you before renewal. If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate, complete information, and tell us promptly about changes.
- Make sure you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us (logos, photos, text, trademarks) and that it is lawful.
- Check the website before it goes live. Once you approve it, you are responsible for its content being accurate and legal for your business.
Delays in receiving content or feedback from you may delay launch.
6. Domains and ownership
Where possible, the domain is registered in your name. Domain registration is also subject to the registry's and registrar's rules (for example Nominet for .uk domains), and domain fees are non-refundable once the domain is registered. If you already own a domain, you stay the owner and we only help connect it.
If you decide to leave, we will help hand over your domain, and explain what parts of the website can be transferred given how it is set up.
7. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of the material you give us. You give us permission to use it to build, host and promote your website. Once the website is paid for, you may use the finished design and content for your business. We keep ownership of our underlying templates, code and tools, and you get a licence to use them as part of your website while you are a customer. We may mention that we built your website (for example in our portfolio) unless you ask us not to.
8. Changes after launch
Tell us what you would like changed and we will say whether it is covered by your plan or needs a quote. Reasonable corrections to errors on our side are free.
9. Hosting and availability
We aim to keep your website online but cannot promise it will always be available. Hosting may be interrupted for maintenance or by issues with third-party providers outside our control. We may suspend a website that breaks the law, infringes someone's rights, or harms our systems or other customers.
10. Cancellation and refunds
If you are a consumer or sole trader buying at a distance, you normally have 14 days to cancel after ordering. Because we start work straight away at your request, if you cancel after that we may charge for work already done, and for any domain already registered. If you cancel after launch, the service ends at the close of the current paid year; we do not give pro-rata refunds for the rest of the year unless the law requires it. This does not affect your legal rights, including where we have not delivered what we agreed.
We may end the service if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms or do not pay, giving you reasonable notice where we can.
11. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We provide services with reasonable skill and care, but we do not guarantee particular search rankings, visitor numbers or sales.
12. Privacy
How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes apply to new orders straight away, and to existing customers from their next renewal or 30 days after we tell you, whichever is later.
14. General
These terms, with your order or quote, are the whole agreement between us. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right does not mean giving it up. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and its courts, though if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also use your local courts.
